Adopting vines in the Languedoc

What you get

Pulled corks that smell like home.

For one year you can adopt 12 vines (or more if you like) at Domaine Bourdic.  You can choose the grape variety of your vines, or if you prefer, pick a part of the vineyard just because you like the view.

Your vine package will include:

  • 12 bottles of wine labelled with your own name

  • 12 adopted vines

  • a certificate of ownership

  • a technical guide to your vines

  • a calendar of the year in the vineyard

  • a soil sample so you can feel and smell your terrain.

The good thing about vines, of course, is that they don't talk back. We, however, can, and you can follow the progress of your little lovelies through the deux pieds blog.  And because Domaine Bourdic is in a truly gorgeous part of the world and its owners are not only civilised but good fun, we’ll also tell you what’s going on beyond the vineyard in the rest of the ‘hood.  Think of it as a nature / nurture kind-of-a-thing.  In many languages.

Better still, Hans and Christa, the experts who actually look after your vines,  will invite you to your vineyard for the vendange (picking the grapes) and the assemblage (blending the wine.)

Best of all you could always come on holiday and visit your vines, do a bit of vine-bonding and have an all-round lovely time. It'd be great to see you.
